THE STORY
“The third print in Tilsa Crousse's 'Leche de Tigre' series, printed on Photo Matt Fibre 200 paper at 21 × 29.7 cm. The title references leche de tigre, the citrus-cured marinade used in Peruvian ceviche, a culinary tradition central to Peruvian identity. Crousse is a Franco-Peruvian illustrator working from Lima, drawing on folk imagery and narrative drawing.”
About the artist
Tilsa Crousse is a Franco-Peruvian illustrator based in Lima, trained in graphic design at the PUCP and in illustration and narrative at Escola Massana in Barcelona. Her imagery draws on folk iconography, nature, and illustrated books, with a style she describes as variable and undefined.
